While we were in the Maple City my uncle Duane got me into the gym and the coach for Monmouth watched me shoot around. Before I came I had thought that he would do some type of clinic or practice for me. That is what my dad had said. It turns out that I just got to shoot around with my cousin CJ but it was still a really cool experience.

My shoot around was at 10:50 but my dad and I got there thirty minutes early. CJ got there fifteen minutes later. Another fifteen minutes after that the coach and Duane got there and then we started shooting around. He talked with my dad and Duane and CJ for part of the time.

Near the end of the shoot-around CJ and I played a game of one-on-one. CJ beat me 21 to 17 but it was still a close game. My dad said afterward that the coach had an eye on me the whole time and said that I was pretty good. Afterward we checked out a little bit of campus and eventually went home.
